Suspension Adjustable camber plates -- ease of adjustment
Adjustable camber plates -- ease of adjustment
Okay so I'm shopping and reading to consider which plates to buy. I was just about to drop the hammer on the IE adjustables, as they are $250. However, I read somewhere something about having to hack up the strut towers in order to install them.
Is this true? Also, there was much hinting about them not being really adjustable once installed. Doesn't that kill the whole point?
I want adjustable plates that can be easily adjusted without cutting holes in my Strut Towers. Am I asking for too much?

The answer is that it depends on how much negative camber you want or can achieve with your setup... With the new IE plates, I am running -2.9 up front right now with coilovers and can still access all 4 bolts WITHOUT any modifications to the tops of the towers... You just use the 4 outermost holes in the capture plate.
