SS brake hose help

I am changing my stock brake hoses out with SS ones. Concerns:

1) The stock hoses twisting all up while removing. OK or is there a method to avoid this?

2) How do I pre-twist or load the SS hose when installing?

Thanks in advance for anyones advice.

When doing the brake hoses undo the end that fastens into the cars hard brake lines first. Then remove the hose from the clip on the strut. Last thing is to undo the hose at the caliper. To re-assemble, do the steps backward.

The brake hoses should not twist at all. If you take (I think) a 14mm wrench for the bottom nut and an 11mm for the top you should be just fine.

Thanks for the replys.

I learned to remove the side connected to the hard brake line first as Paulsminis suggested. Then the caliper side is easy.

I also learned that the brake line recepticle thingy on the hard brake line side has teeth and my replacement brake line will not fit through the hole. What now? Get different SS brake lines? Something that can fit the teeth? Somehow remove the teeth?

I used a carbide tool with a dremel and ground down the teeth to get the SS brake line to fit the braket hole on the hard line side.
