Sport Suspension?

My question is this: Do I add the sport suspension now or wait for the JCW kit? Which is a better suspension and what are the price differences? Does the JCW lower the car at all, because I really don't want that?

Then you've pretty much answered your question - get the sport suspension - it's a $500.00 option and well worth the money.

jcw

you can get the jcw suspension now, for $1000 plus 4.5 hours labor....it's great...i tried mine today and am very impressed...lowers the car just slightly, maybe 1/4 inch....not harsh at all but extremely responsive

I was thinking the jcw suspension was $1500 + labor. If it's only $1000, I would save the $500 on the sport suspension and pay the extra $500 for the JCW, of course 4.5 hours labor is not cheap.

Saying that, I have the sport suspension on my R56 and couldn't be happier.

I think Gabe has a review on motoringfile.com about the jcw suspension.

I have to say, motoringfile's review of the JCW suspension as a daily driver does not seem gleaming. If I had it to do over again, I would still pick my factory SS with 16" wheels and run-flats. It is not bad on rough road, it's better than my 91 Escort GT. I have not thrown it in to anything it cannot handle on the street yet, but I am not a genius driver, either.

I'd imagine, though, if you had it as a second car, or a track/autocross car, the JCW suspension would be a blast. Get rid of the back seat, and you are basically getting really close to an R56 version of a GP.
