Pedal Center-to-Center Distance

Hey all,

My past vehicles have always had ample (excessive) room between the pedals. My '07MCS has about my foots width plus 1/2 inch between the brake and side panal, making it a bit tight for my foot. I like it because i can heal toe quite easily.

Anyways just wondering what others experiences with this is. Other BMW's? Euros?

Thanks!

Nick

My mid eighties Porsche 911 has really tight pedals, more than in any vehicle I've seen before. It makes it super easy to heal toe. When I test drove my friend's Cooper S I didn't notice the pedals being that close. They were a lot farther apart than the 911 is. I'll have to check it out in a month when my Mini gets here.

Not sure about European cars, as my previous BMW was an automatic, but my Subaru had really well placed pedals. On my test drive of the MCS, I felt like the brake pedal was too high up, but I'm sure it's just something to get used to.
