R90 Lug nut covers

Sorry for the duplicate post. Got no response where it was!
I'm putting the new wheels on tomorrow.

2005 MINI R50 (bought used) has stock R82s on it.

I've got studs with lug nuts ..... is that normal?

I am replacing my 15 inch R82 wheels with MINI (BBS) factory 16 inch R90 wheels. The R82s had a cover over the open ended lug nuts. The R90 has the lug nuts exposed. The stock exposed lug nuts will look ugly!!

Do I get nut covers for them? Whose covers fit?
Anyone use http://www.colorlugs.com

Do I get new closed end lug nuts? Whose are the best?

New Kumhos are on the rims and they are ready to mount! Help me out please!

I'm not sure if the lug nuts on my '06 S are the same size as yours. I think that mine are 17 mm. I bought black lug nut covers off eBay. I remember that the seller offered them in chrome also...not sure about other covers. The ones I bought came 20 to the pack, and I'm happy with them.
You can do a search on eBay for Mini Cooper Lug Nut Covers...
Good luck,
gaminis

Thanks! I did see the ones on E-Bay. Mine are 17MM lugs. The E-Bay covers are much more expensive than colorlugs. Does anyone know about the SAAB lug nut covers? They look great! 2 lefts and 2 rights.

Seems I have 15 studs with lug nuts and 1 lug bolt! I ordered black lug nut covers from Bavarian Autosport http://www.bavauto.com

The one lug bolt I have is black and showing some rust .... so non rusting covers seems the way to go for me. I was also told after I placed the order that VW has 17MM lug nut covers. Hendrix is very happy with his new wheels and tires.

Installed the above lug nut covers today .... and they look great. They fit the lug bolt and lug nuts perfectly. Wheels are looking good! Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone!
