My wife was driving in downtown Nashville yesterday morning and our Mini just died. Wouldn't start back up...wouldn't even turn over. It had it's normal compliment of warning lights.
It was flat bedded to the local Mini dealer and was finally pushed into the shop about 4:00pm. Still DOA.
Now today, still nothing from the dealer. Based on this board (and others) I'm not the first with this issue.
*Update!*
Apparently the A/C compressor seized up and killed the engine when my wife pulled up to a stoplight. (Though the starter wouldn't even make a sound when trying to restart.)
