how to remove knee protection (driver side) for installating driving lights?

Bought OEM driving lights and need installation advice here. I have trouble removing knee protection piece. There is one screw hide behind the driver side air vent. How do I remove air vent?

Where is the location of front left door sill strip and windscreen paned cover (left & right)? The Preparatory work list indicate the above items need to be remove first. Any picture?

Also, last question, any picture show .....routing the wires from the inside of the car through rubber grommet into the engine compartment?
