I want to put 20% tint on my tail lights... The thing is that I don't know if they are too dark, so the light cannot be see at night... I don't like to much the 35% one...But I want something good looking and safe.

Could you please post pictures of your tinted tail lights?

hey ....i have 20 on mine ...and at night and when the brake is applied you can see it illuminate just fine

 

I don't think it's nighttime that you should be concerned with...tinting lights is more about what you see in the daytime. If its too dark, the light behind it gets harder to see in the sunshine.

35% is pretty dark on windows...I would think that would be plenty on a taillight. BTW, if you have a state inspection, you might concern yourself with the laws before doing this.
