Has anybody removed the dealer installed roof rack? I assume there are holes left behind?
If so, any ideas for someone who wants to cover them up, if not, how do they keep the rack on?
I would go look myself, but its raining now, and has been everytime I thought about attempting a roof rack removal.

Thanks,

Jonathan

your dealer shouldve given you rubber plugs to seal the holes.

Ants,

Rubber plugs? All I got were the plastic oval covers. Is there a part number for these and are they a temporary or permanent type item?

Thanks,
Bill

You should have 4 plastic caps, each cap long enough to cover the pair of holes at each corner. The caps are either white or black to match your roof. On our PW the caps are black.

instead of holes, you will find raied stainless steel studs under the rack bases. The plastic covers snap over these.
