R50/53 Anyone seen "Mixture Too Lean" codes with Alta airbox or boost gauge?
Anyone seen "Mixture Too Lean" codes with Alta airbox or boost gauge?
Ever since installing my boost gauge I've been getting intermittant "Service Engine Soon" idiot lights. they usually clear after 5 restarts, but this time it's not going away. I had the code read and it listed a "mixture too lean" error condition in the area after the cat. I also have a Alta airbox MOD, but that's about it for performance MODs.
I had the light come on before and the dealer replaced an oxygen sensor - could this be the other one going bad perhaps? I'm still getting the same MPG as I always got and the car runs smooth and powerful, so I'm not cinvinced the error condition is actyally happening.
Just checking before I take the car in to the dealer and face the service writer.
Thanks!

Well I don't see how there's any way that at CAI would make your car run lean...its already rich as it is. If you can run a 17% pulley and not be lean I don't know whats going on there. Get the ECU checked out perhaps?
