Rim / tire weight

how much does a 17 inch s lite rim with a average tire approx. weigh?

~50+lbs, depending on tire.
Slite is 25lbs.

I weighed my SLites and Pirelli Euforia Runflats when I swapped wheels... They came in at 47 pounds total (my new set withe tires is 34.5 pounds...). Tire Rack list the Euforia at 22 lbs in 205/45-17, so that makes the S Lite 25 pounds like Eric listed.

Yeah. Just think how much they weigh with OEM run-flats!!! One of the best bang for the buck on the 02-06 MINI, IMO, is any forged lightweight wheels and non-run-flat tires. Better looks and performance in one move.
