Electrical mishaps for '07 Minis....

My girl's Mini is going crazy, so I told her to take it to the dealer. The dealer told my girlfriend that some '07 Minis' are coming in on a regular basis with electrical problems. For example, the yellow brake light goes off randomly, the wipers go off randomly and the door locks don't lock on their own anymore.

Something about dirt affecting one of the computers and a new part was made to cover the computer. They didn't tell her what computer it was. Anyone heard of this?

Why is this the wrong thread? Never heard of this issue but when I got my MINI my lights were always in auto mode no matter which position I put the stalk in. Brought it in for service got it fixed in a day.

I currently have a bmw 330cic and the electrical problems are annoyances at most, the car still drives so I really do'nt care - as the days go by i appreciate my car more. superb handling, looks, ample power.

I haven't seem much on this personally, but you're right, let the dealer sort it out.
