Beware of road trash. I just got hit by something on I65 that went right through the lower (PLASTIC!) grill and blew a big hole in my A/C condenser. Maybe I'll consider replacing that PLASTIC grill with something more substantial after I get the condenser replaced. In the meantime I'm HOT, in more ways than one.

 

Where you going to get it fixed? There was a one-man operation on Valleydale Terrace that did some non-MINI A/C compressor work for me one time. I dunno if he would work on a MINI but he did good work & his prices were good. The place is called Dan's Autoworks 562-9288 (ask for Dan )

 

Stephen's Garage. He's ordered that condenser from you-know-where I suspect, and it'll be in next week. $400 just for the part.. Will get him to do the oil chg while he's got it; I'm about due for one. I was on my way to Harbor Freight to get an air horn for The Clown Car. I got run off 280 last week by a b---tch in a Lexus SUV on her cell phone. This horn won't stop that but it will get their attention.
