WARRANTY...

My service warranty will be up in about 3,000 miles. Is there an extended service warranty that I can buy, that covers oil changes, inspections, etc.? If so, how much is it, and how do I purchase it? Would it be worth the extra dough?

There is one, and it's available through the dealership. The cost varies from dealership to dealership (I think we've seen anything from $450 - $900 here). Depending on how hard you drive your car, it may be worth it - do some math and figure out how often you need brakes, and how many miles you rack up, and you'll be able to figure it out.

However, some dealerships only allow you to purchase it up to a certain amount of months or miles after the car is purchased. So you'll want to check on that, too.

I have a 70 mile commute (one way) everyday. I've only owned the car since May 31, and had to have an oil change after the 1st 3.5 weeks. That's why I was asking. Thanks for your response.
