06' MCS cabin noise in or around dash

I've been trying to figure out what this noise is that has been coming up from time to time in my 06" MCS before taking it to the dealer and not being able to describe it or replicate it. The noise sounds like something between a light buzzing or static to something like a baseball card in spokes, but fairly quiet and not consistent as to when I hear it and definitley in the cabin not outside the vehicle or under the hood. It's always on the driver's side of the car near the tach or somewhere to the left of that and lower. It can come up when I hit some slight bumps in the road at speed or I could be making a very slow turn in second gear before turning into a parking space.

My only guess right now might be an electrical relay resetting itself. I might say an air noise, but that's very doubtful because of it making the noise at very slow speeds as well as faster speeds.

Thanks for any opinions!

I also have a slight rattling noise (best I can describe it) inside the passenger side of my dash, near the air vent.. I have not yet had anyone riding with me investigate while I drive...it only happens while driving. My old car (a Hyundai) did the same thing, so I am not really concerned, it's just annoying. I will post also if I figure it out.
