Need any spacer for 17" OZ Ultraleggera rims?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying 17" (4X100,7J,37 offset) OZ Ultraleggera rims run on 215/45/17 tyres with OEM brake & OEM suspension/spring for my ONE, what do you think? Any rubbing? or do I need any spacer?

I heard from my friend that I need a spacer so that when doing high speed drive the car/steering wheels won't vibrate? Is that true?

Please advice...

Thank you

The offset of those wheels is +37 and stock wheels is +48, so the wheels already push outward 11 mmmore than stock so no spacers are needed. We have the very same wheels with 215/40-17s on my wife's MCC. In fact with her car lowered about 1/2" (with an add-on MCS Sport suspension) we get occasional rubbing on the outside edges of the rears. The rubbing is very minor and usually only happens when we are carrying a bunch of extra weight in the boot or an adult rear seat passenger, so we've never taken the Dremel to the wheel well liners. The Ultraleggeras are beautiful wheels and very lightweight!

Good choice on the tire size also. Whenever my wife's tires need to be replaced we'll be stepping up to a 45 series profile - with all of the rain we've had here in the past 2-3 months the potholes seem to appear overnight and the extra rubber between the pavement and the rims would be better.

kenchan: The rims offset is 37 (posted in my first thread, ...17" (4X100,7J,37 offset) OZ Ultraleggera rims run on 215/45/17 tyres...)

FUEGO: Do you feel any vibration during high speed (let say >=150km/h)? Just want to confirm this *** my fren told me if without a spacer u will feel the steering vibration

Thanks
