access to boot from rear seats inside

Can you drop the back seats down to access the boot from inside the cabin? I did not see any lock or switch to allow this. Just curious?

think again. push out the shelf towards the rear window on both sides and simply insert a coat hanger bent at the very bottom as a latch , grab the latch on the backside of the seat and wholla access to the boot. might be a frosty beer in there you want to get. a temp fix that i will use. worked like a charm.

if you want that umbrella, just stop the car and open the boot

I keep my umbrella in the seat pocket. I only need to reach behind the passenger seat if I need it.

seems like a lot of work instead of just getting out of the car walking 6 feet and opening the trunk.

Now, if you had a SmartCar you could drive around to the boot from the driver's seat to fetch that umbrella or cold beer.
