Something new to do in Vegas!
I thought I would pass this along to anyone interested in doing something off the Strip that's pretty neat! I think you'll especially like it if you enjoy things like Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, etc.
This is the opening weekend for the Las Vegas Springs Preserve on US-95 and Valley View Blvd. This is a HUGE place with a TON to do. It's focus is on the history of Las Vegas...the peple, the plants, the wildlife...everything. It's all essentially a huge, interactive museum with so many cool exhibits. Not to mention, there are 2.5 miles of trails on site.
I encourage everyone to check it out. It costs $15 for adults. Here is a link if you want more information. http://www.springspreserve.org/html/
I work for the Architecture Firm that designed the Exhibit Building and the Administration Building. We've been working hard to complete this project and it's very exciting for me to finally see it complete. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
