Tuesday night was the first time I was at Miller Park since they put up the new "wrap around" display - For those not familiar with the park, it's basically a giant color display that's about 20' tall and wraps around the ball park between the 2nd and 3rd levels from rt field foul post to home plate, then out to lft field foul post.

Anyway, somewhere around the 3rd inning (I believe) they ran a 3 MINI race along this display (ala the sausage races, but computer generated). Pretty cool. Hadn't heard of this before, so it kind of caught me by surprise.

 

Damn.... I was at the game on Monday night and didn't see it. Next time, I guess!

 

Finally got back to watch the Brewers spank Houstin on Tuesday night. I wasn't hallucinating...between the 3rd and 4th inning on the long display:

 

That's neato! I'm amazed they didn't do a NASCAR or NHRA theme.

 

Bravo to International Autos for pulling this together. They are a larger sponsor of the Milwaukee Brewers. I know that they tried getting the relief pitcher driven in via MINI but to no avail as Harley has that market cornered! Hopefully the racing MINIS will become as beloved as the racing sausages!!!

 

Actually, they have some awful pimped out Chevy HHR drive across the warning track while the pitcher runs to the mound...I say runs to the mound, because no self-respecting guy is going to be seen riding around in that silly pt cruiser wanna-be .

 

I need to point out an inaccuracy with that MINI race. There is no way that a BRG MINI is trailing the pack...
