What do you know about it....

It has strong signs of a re-vin - for example the brake master cyl, is very post the date claimed......

know anything else about it?

Very nice car. No way that's a 72. Lots of newer Mini's running around with old titles on them.

I am well aware of the "upgrades" that have been made to the car. The car was purchased from a very unscrupulous southern mini dealer, and the customer had no idea what they were getting. It's never been smoked in, and almost to the point where it's so nice they don't want to drive it.

Air bags would be 1996 or later wouldn't it?

Great looking car... You don't see many MPI's riding on 10's. Looks nicely personalized.
Truth be told I bought my Mini from Alistair. I would recommend him to anyone however.

nice car! it's an interesting re-vin as it was converted to look like an older MK 2 (it has MK2 brake lights). The disc brake may been converted to an older cooper S disc setup as you cannot fit 10 inch wheels on stock Multi-point injection (MPI) minis from the 90's.

The car looks awesome on 10"s. Someone went to a lot of trouble to make this car look perfect, and the new owners would be thrilled with it.

The only thing wrong with this is
somebody knocked the right side mirror
off in the parking lot
It's on the site at the bottom.

The car looks great. I see going to 10" wheels & smaller brakes so they'd fit a definite step backwards. Why make the car something it's not.

It's a bit rich for my blood, but I'd be happy with that one.

Is that a "ghost" floating around the car in the first pic---or cigarette smoke?

Seriously, I like the car, just can't afford it.

Looks to me remarkably like one of the 2000 run out models, the Mini Classic Seven (or Se7en) with a resprayed roof. I don't know of any others with thee same seats and steering wheel
There's one for sale here in the UK: http://www.minisport.com/cars/for-sa...x-product.html

At 6600 UK, with the exchange, that's over $13000. Plus the shipping, plus the mods to make it run on classic 10" wheels, plus....yada yada yada.....you get the idea.

Makes this one a bargain already titled in PA and ready to enjoy.

Depends which country you're in
I was simply trying to help others identify what its proper non-1972 year was. If it is based on the Y2k model then that might persuade someone to take closer look. I was in no way trying to say its overvalued as I've no idea what prices are like on your side of the pond
