Installed ALTA gauge pod in my MCS. At first thought it would not work with standard gauges. First bought 2 5/8 Autometer gauges but no way would they fit. Then traded those for 2 1/16 gauges,way too small. Found 2" plastic pipe fit perfect in the gauge pod and the gauge fit in the plastic. I used a 2 1/16 o-ring on each gauge to hide the plastic. Spent hours trimming and painting the plastic to have a neet look. Looks pretty dang good!!

 

Are you kidding? Neither of the two standard sizes will fit the Alta pod without modification? Is there another standard--eg, maybe a Euro size--that the guage is designed to house?

 

I think it was 52mm gauges which are gauges I never heard of and hard to find.It would be nice if they made a pod that held auto meter gauges or sleeves.
