Its not impressive ... way too many factors. You dont know if its staged (and stuff on youtube is sometimes staged) or different drivers, what year in the Z ... or whatever.

Yup There another "infamous" video out there somewhere where some guys in a pickup harrass a couple in a Z3 (or something like that), end up on dead end road and they end up pulling out a gun ... most consensus is the whole thing is totally fake. Ppl might do most of anything to get their 15 mins of fame.

 

yeah that video is funny. its totally fake because people who drive shitty trucks dont have cameras, duh.
the 350z could have missed a shift or something. i'll still show this to my friends who spank it every night to the 350z

I honestly don't believe that video because a Z should/could/would beat a MINI in that type of race if its stock and to be honest with you, a MINI with an exhaust and intake would only help out a little bit. That being said though....PRAY FOR THE FLASH FOR OUR CARS, then we can make some "honest" videos. For the record though, I stayed ahead of a mid-90's Mustand GT last week from a 3rd gear roll, damn, too bad I didn't have a video camera

 

hey everyone glad u liked the video, but i guess the general concensus is that you dont beleive that its real. Well that 350z in the video is the automatic 280bhp version which is a pig it weighs like 1700kg.

The mini is the new Turbo 07 Cooper S and people have dyno'd these to around 200 and over at the fly . The Mini also weighs only aroun 1100kg so the power to weight of these two is actually pretty even.

I posted this video because i was really impressed by the Mini and just to see what your thoughs were on the video.

Oh and sorry bout the street racing view on NAM, but it was not done in the US and it was a comparison on a "private road".

just my $0.02, but... what would be the purpose of making a fake video? In any case, I still love that the R56 kicked some 350z booty! (even if the drivers might be crappy, hehe!)

 

Don't know if it is but some guesses on why:

1. To get their 15 mins of fame (and clearly it was referenced here so more ppl watched it
2. To irrititate 350Z owners
3. To boost the ego of R56 owners
4. Because they can (why climb Mt. Everest?)
5. Because they are bored and have nothing better to with their time
6. Because it was "cool"

Auto G35C/350Z are slow... My friend with mods has a hard time keeping up with me...
