Someone suggested that we add a Saturday or Sunday breakfast into the Milwaukee MINI schedule, and then invite someone to come and talk about a MINI-related topic. Maybe at the end of June. Thoughts?

If someone has time to find a topic and speaker, I can work on the breakfast location!

 

That sounds like a neat idea. We could drag some of our members (any volunteers??) to give a talk about things like:

1) Modding your MINI/Mini...good venders, recommended mods, etc.
2) Autocross Racing...how to get into it, equipment needed, etc.
3) Detailing your MINI...recommended products, tips, etc.
4) Servicing your MINI...maybe someone from IA could talk?

Of course, all of these I know nothing about, so I being a bit selfish in my motives.

Places:

1) I know Pieces of Eight used to do a brunch way-bak-when and it was OK. I haven't been there in an age, so I don't know quality/availability of such it.
2) I've never been to Ms. Katie's Diner, but I hear they have a good breakfast, altough parking might be a significant issue. I also don't know how many they could accomodate.

Those are some suggestions I have for now. Please post yours here as well. Great idea and kudos to the one who came up with it.

 

I like the idea! Tom, you suggestion about someone from IA for the first one isn't a bad idea. Do you think they know anything about the new Traveler that was announced?
