Again, our friends Ray Velasquez, Rene Watson and Shelly Saucedo from Ralph Schomp MINI come thru again! For those of you who have not yet driven (or perhaps not yet seen or touched) the new R56 MINI, rejoice!

With a little hand-wringling and a hard-won 'offsite' permit from the state of Colorado, Ralph Schomp MINI will this year be providing not one but TWO MINIs for test drives and review at MITM. (R56 Cooper S and R53 Cooper S Convertible)

Rene Watson will be your host at MITM and she will be located right next to the Ralph Schomp MINI Pit Stop, on the east side of the parking structure on the access road. Rene will have for you (planned, subject to change) both an R56 Cooper S and and an R53 Cooper S Convertible available for public test drive.

These test drives will be available to MITM attendees and the public at large. When you arrive at MITM, please see Rene and make arrangements for your drive.

Rene will be happy to answer questions right here in this thread (Dr Watson) so feel free to ask her your questions here.

Again, what a great opportunity to enjoy the newest MINI on the market!!

a little reminder to all:

Please be sure to have your valid Driver's License handy and a copy of your own current insurance card with you. As with all test drives locally, these items are provided for legal and insurance reasons.

Can you arrange to have a LiB R56 with all the packages and all the JCW bits there? Mike's in on order and he'd be THRILLED to have a demo replica to play with while we're in Colorado!

BTW - we did find out our accomodations offer internet access...so at least he can continue to track his ship's progress every 6 hours while we're in Co. :impatient
