I asked this in "electrical", but I've got zero responce, so I'm going to try here, too:

-What kind of bulbs go into the auxillary driving lights?

-Also, how do the driving lights come apart in order to replace the bulbs?

I'm going to be placing an order for driving & fog lights to match the white light of the xenons. I want to make sure I order the correct bulbs.

I think the reason that you got no response is that your post is a little confusing. When you say auxillary are you talking about the existing fogs on the R56.?. You are also talking about buying new driving/fogs. The lamp types will vary depending on brand and wattage, so it would be wise to wait untill you have them in your hand. All of can be popped appart with a screwdriver.

 

I dont believe the MINI has daytime driving lights. The headlights are either on or off. The front fogs only come on when the headlights are on and on low beam (least that is how it reads in the manual).
The running lamps are the side markers, tail lights, and front markers. The fronts are white on all models (I believe), side markers have yellow lenses, and of course the tails are red.
