hello people- new user here

im going to order my new mini cooper in the next couple of weeks and was going to go for the sports suspension off of the mcs- how harsh is the ride quality with this on- bear in mind im used to a corsa lowered 50mm on small wheels(very very harsh ride)...is it still quite comfortable

Welcome to MCO Drpepper!
The suspension on the MCS is actually called "Sport Suspension Plus" (SSP or SS+).
If you're used to a "race car" kind of ride quality, this will be only a touch softer. Obviously the kind of roads in your area are critical to ride quality

best of luck, what are you colors and options going to be on your MC?
Cheers,
Ryan

Nice choices. I think the cold pkg and the auto wipers are a great bargain as well. I hear the factory is a pretty cool place. SS+ is a good choice

SSP is as stiff a suspension as you are likely to find on a passenger car.
I have it, love it, and can not imagine willingly going back to a mushy ride.

On the other hand, my friend and his wife test-drove an MC with the sport suspension. After a few twists and turns it made her nauseous. The standard suspension was fine for her.

Moral of story: test drive, or carry supply of air-sickness bags, or find a less queasy woman.
