I think this is very cool. These are Japanese-made LED interior lights to replace the stock incandescent bulbs. They're not nearly as cheap as the ebay junk, but WAY nicer. Each one is custom-designed for the application. Really, really well thought-out parts. (I was sort of surprised. I mean, it's just a dome lamp, right?)

It looks like this:



Note that it plugs directly into where the stock dome light bulb goes, so it's easy to install. I did it in about two minutes.

The little side lights have a different bulb type; I don't offer replacements for those yet, but should in a week or two.

Both pics were taken with the exact same exposure settings.

For now, this is only available for the first-generation MINI. Sorry, R56 folks; I'm working on something for you.
