They MINIs will probably need another bath when they get there. It has been raining a lot here in Norcal. Hopefully it will cease as the trip arrives so that my car will be clean.

You don't want me washing anything. As my luck lately, we're bound to have a big storm, and this close to AMVIV, that isn't good. A clean car or truck in the fleet around here may cause rain, power outages, and deep snow in the foothills. Usually, within hours without warning from the media. Hek, I washed a car yesterday that didn't belong to me, and look what happened.

But anyways, I'll have to see how the rest of my week goes. Sounds like fun.

And just a reminder, everybody should check their tire pressures. Right now, right now the temp may be in the 30-40 degrees, but by the time you get to Vegas, that could possibly change.

It dosent matter. I'm checking mine again on Saturday before the race.

Whether I come or not depends on the weather.

Brad,
I am tempted to drop by just to watch you all wash the MINIs...I have a ton of schoolwork to do, but if I can spare a couple hours, I'll stop by.
Cheers,
Michele

You can always wet her in wet weather. (Whether you can weather the weather depends on whether the weather will allow her to wet well.)

Will that work?

Itsdchz Mar 18, 2006 11:06 PM

I am going to print this and have you say this 10 times fast next time I see you!!

I actually detailed my car with the Meguiars Deep Crystal three stage system, yesterday. The shine and color are amazing, Dark Silver Metallic is the best color, I am sure Blake will agree. It took forever to add and remove the 3 coats of wax, I am glad the MINI is a small car.

What will you guys use to clean the black pillar covers on both sides of the windshield?

Scooby03 Mar 19, 2006 03:58 PM

Blake and I washed, waxed and detailed our Mini's.

They are already for AMVIV.

LCooper4me Mar 19, 2006 04:46 PM

Now Blake will drive back up here and get it all dirty again. How does he get his school work done? If we don't get some good weather soon, my tires are going to get flat on one side. I want to run out to my fav winery one of these days.

1nf3rn0 Mar 19, 2006 05:24 PM

It only got drizzled on on the way back, so there is no severe road grit on the back... I will give it a touchup before thursday.

Scooby03 Mar 19, 2006 05:50 PM

I was wondering how the weather was. Mine is nice and dry and cozy in the garage.

blacknblue Mar 19, 2006 08:09 PM

No pics of shiny cars? :sly:
