this email is a bit late, but as they say - better late than pregnant!

... if the cable from the inside door handel was too tight/ not installed properly it might not lock.... check the routing/ seat of that cable.

otherwise, something went askew when you put the thing back together. I remember there was a gear that disengaged everyhting... but no way to describe how to find it.

First, thanks for your excellent write up on repairing the mini door actuator.
I have sucessfully repaired one of my actuator motors and replaced the actuator back into the door.
Heres the bit i hope you can help me with - The door will no longer lock - the actuator works fine moving both levers back and forth as i lock/unlock the unit. However, in the locked position the door can still be opened from the outside. (Passenger door)
I have stripped the actuator twice now to see where i could have gone wrong, but it all looks ok?? im stumped!!
Any ideas before i buy a new one?!
