Hey all,
I've gotten a bit jealous of those Subie owners lately seeing TONS of them cruising together to random get-togethers, shows, etc...
Does the MINI community do that here in the CT/MA area?? If so, I want in!

I've been to a few of these so called Mini Meets the past few years and the results have been far from positive. On at least three or four occasions, I drove a great distance to find either no one there or one other person. I believe that the reason other gatherings are successful ( Subie etc. ) is because they are more about cars, performance and the people that drive them, as opposed to food and ice cream.Originally Posted by lovemyR53

The last 2 events I went to were very cool but both were more about driving the cars then talking about mods etc. Originally Posted by drink8648

Boston MINI club (Facebook group) did a scavenger hunt rally where we all met up at a starting point and the 1st MINI to get to the meet up point at the end with pictures of all the clues won.
We also joined up with Mass Motoring for an event prior to that where we met at Greasy's garage then did a run around the Quabbin Reservoir with stops for scenic pictures, lunch and ice cream.
Happy Motoring! SouthernMAMINIs.com
