This isn't the typical ebay p.o.s intercooler that cools WORSE than the oem intercooler.  Yes.  The cheap ebay ic has the wrong core and if your running anything over 13psi your iat will get hot enough to pull timing. I've done sooooo much testing with different intercoolers.
So if your car is tuned or running a piggyback chip , I highly highly suggest this intercooler. It literally the same one as a racing dynamics and few other name brands for 1/5 the cost..
