Direct replacement for the stock N18 turbo pressure recirculation valve that in my opinion did this fluttery number that seemed to release boost pressure under certain higher RPM/throttle combinations. You’ll notice an instance difference in boost response with the valve’s simple piston design. It snaps closed (and stays closed) when you get on it. It opens up whenever you let off it. (Not sure why that concept was missed during the N18 design.) You’ll also notice the “WHOOOSH” that scares deer and other small animals away. (I attached a video to the listing, hopefully it plays.)

I had this installed on an N18 JCW engine and it never threw a CEL, and never ran into any performance issues. The ECU didn’t have any issues with it either. Comes with all the hardware, solenoid, replacement spring (for re-mapped ECUs) and vacuum hoses. (The hoses that came with it aren’t anything special. If for some reason you don’t feel like using them, then you can easily get silicone hoses at any auto parts store or Amazon.)
