I'm going through my 2013 MINI Countryman S ALL 4 to give to my granddaughter for college.  I had been told by the local BMW dealer (who *used* to do all the maintenance on it), that the engine needed to be rebuilt.  (Turns out it didn't, hence they no longer do the maintenance.). Long story short, I bought a remanufactured N14 engine to do an engine swap, before finding out it just needed a new turbo and PCV valve.  Clearly now I don't need the engine since it's running like a top.

So, I'm looking to sell this remanufactured engine.  In the interest of complete transparency, it has some issues that are of concern: 1) the oil cooler looks like it was installed with a hammer; 2) there's assembly lube all over the head gasket; 3) one of the bolt ears on the head is cracked (see attached photos).  All of which makes the engine somewhat suspect.  Never opened the engine up so the internals could be super good, or not so good.  Still, there's value in the parts/pieces even if the complete package isn't.  May find that a new head is all that's needed for a really nice engine.

I have no use for this anymore and really want to get it out of my shop.  I paid $6,000 for it.  Would like to get at least $3,000.  I'm located in eastern WA and am willing to deliver to pretty much anyplace in the Northwest if you'll split fuel costs.  You can call and leave a message at 509-466-2495 or message me.
