Description:

2005 MINI Cooper hatchback with CVT transmission. Runs and drives but won't shift into higher gears (at 20mph it's at 3600rpm).  I believe the trans itself is good but the ECU can't find the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and I don't have the tools to find the problem. Chili red with white top. 197,650 mi. Sunroof, heated seats, Cherry Bomb Turbo exhaust (welded), window tints, two keys (one remote). Some body rust in rear.  Engine runs great; doesn't lose oil. A/C works. Everything works except...Known issues:
Won't upshift; I think related to no communication to Transmission Control Module
driver side inner CV boot torn
headliner getting saggy

Many new parts in the past two years including: 4 new shocks & springs, control arms, fr wheel bearings, rear rotors & calipers, Goodyear tires, plugs, coil, wires, etc.
