Description:
Hello all, I am unfortunately having to part with my project car, I had a thread started here if you want to read it: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...oad-build.html
But with a kid coming along, I don't have time to work on her anymore or mod her like I want, I need to get something with 4 doors, and room for a carseat and a stroller haha.
I am very happy for this trade though.
The Mini is a work of love, mechanically perfect minus the electrical issue mentioned in detail in the build thread, copy and pasted below. I found 4 threads after days of searching on Mini2 Forum that may be the issue, all of them relatively easy and some simple diagnostics, and also pasted below.
They just will take some time, and that is one thing that I am quickly losing any surplus of lol.
What she needs:
1. The electrical issue. I found a couple threads with some suggestions in Mini2 that I will be trying. (Periodically, if I go over a bump in 4th-6th gear, the Engine light, EML light, DSC light, Tire Pressure light all come on and the temp gauge spikes to the top where the gauge light comes on, it goes out of gear, and will not return to gear for a second or three, sometimes longer but not usually. While it is coasting, I can then clutch, shift, and everything returns to normal like nothing ever happened. Until another random bump ofc. Occasionally the DSC and TP light will stay on, but not usually. I know, weird right? It has me and my dope asf car guy, Matt @ Grossman Tuning, scratching our heads.)
Threads on Min2.com related to this issue that I found after a lot of research:

2. She needs a new hood, as this one is damaged on the right side. - $800
3. I must run windshield and headlight washer lines, as they are not hooked up. - $10
4. Needs paint repair on the drivers and passenger side. - $800
5. New tires, these are old and bald - $500
6. Balance/alignment - $100
7. New exhaust hangar, as one has fallen. - $50
8. Spark Plugs - $20
9. New Key fobs - $200
Other than that, I have a sheet with every dollar spent on this car, where and when, since the day I bought it to now. Fuel, maintenance and otherwise. Religiously changed oil every 3k miles.
Engine and supercharger are still great, still under 100k miles, and stick still shifts smoothly, no clutch, catching, or other issues. Brakes are good.
Sunroof and windows work perfectly, including shades.
She comes with a Grom® Audio Handsfree Bluetooth adapter (+$180), a Fitted Mini™ cover for bad weather (+$100), and a MINI™ Sunshield (+$50) for the windshield.
Definitely for someone who wants to work on her to bring her back to her glory days, (which I wanted to do), or for someone who wants a daily with a stick shift that is fun, and doesn't care about cosmetics.
Listing for KBB minus things needed above, with the other items I have for her (takes about $2,100 off of kbb)
Thanks for looking, if you have any questions just shoot me a msg.
