Included are twenty (20, 4 spares for the mini lugs) 3D Printed Lug Nut Shells for bolts with exterior threads (M16x1.0). The shells can replace damaged ones covering lug nuts with M16x1.0mm exterior threads, such as those used with Project Kics Leggdura.

 A product picture shows these on a MINI R58 that traveled from the Midwest to Florida during the summer, experiencing extremely high temperatures. Also, the shells have been driven during the cold Midwest winter temperature swings and through road salts. In total, these have served their aesthetic function over 10,000 miles, showing no corrosion or loss of fidelity. These examples demonstrate the quality of the new products you'll receive

 These can be used as is, as shown in the product picture, or they can be primed and painted by the buyer.

 

NOTE:

1) Particular awareness should be placed on not cross-threading the shell, ensuring it is parallel to the face of the lug nut. The installer should thread the shell with their fingertips before using the provided wrench. The installer will feel only very slight resistance when the first 2-3 threads start, but the installation should have less resistance as the shell is seated.

2) These should be installed hand-tight with the included socket but without a ratchet wrench. Tightness should be checked every month, although it is not required.

3) These annealed Nylon/Carbon Fiber caps have extreme tensile strength and uv resistance, but they are plastic. Thus, accidentally stepping on, driving over, or over-torquing may crack them - care should be exercised.
