Description:

I recently bought a 2010 JCW that apparently had a corner of the carpet left wet and let me tell you, it smelt bad. Don’t judge me!!!

I tried drying it out and throwing every possible cleaning/deodorizing product i could think of… there were microscopic monsters in there that laughed at me.

So… does anyone have floor covering for a R56? Or know where i can get one? The local dealer just told me there are zero available in the US and Europe. I find that hard to believe, but I’m sure you fine internet people can help me out.

Get some carpet cleaning shampoo a medium scrub brush and a bucket of warm water.......spray the cleaner on the carpet and scrub it using warm
water on the brush.......using a wet vac remove excess water from carpet...... let air dry .....

Thanks Yoshi but i tried everything, it’s hard to explain the pungent smell and number of colors that were in bedded in the under-foam portion of the carpet. And im not talking about the floor mats, I’m talking about the actual floor carpet. It was so bad, i had no choice but to throw it out.

You can get some used but they might be from a junk yard and sit in the rain also. I have seen them from local part out places and they are beat and stink like mold. Same with some headliners.

Here is what it looks like new and the whole carpet with foam.
