Hi guys. I'm new to the forum and have a question about an item I am thinking about selling. It's an M7 C wing that was on my car when I bought it. For some reason it was painted a white pearl metallic that didn't match the rest of the white so I took it off to paint but ended up just putting the stock one back on because it draws less attention to the car. Long story short it has been sitting in my basement for quite a few years and I'm realizing that I'll most likely never actually put it back on and it should go to someone who will actually use it. The wing itself is either fiberglass or carbon base (probably fiberglass) with aluminum wings and like I said, ready for a new finish. I've attached a pic of it on my car when I got it. I can add more this weekend when I get some time if requested.
I honestly don't know what it is worth. From what I can (more like can't) find, they are pretty rare. I'd like the opinion of some of the veteran members on what a fair price would be. I'm not looking to charge an outrageous price. I just want to know what it is worth and what it has perhaps sold for in recent months or years. Either leave a comment or PM me. Thanks! I am not the person to ask tbh. I will say that if the cap for an r53 and r56 are similar, then it could probably be done. The wing is mounted with two bolts coming below the cap if I remember correctly.
Well, I'll say that I'm not in a hurry to sell it, but all I really want is a fair price. Looking at sales in the past they have gone for around $500-$650, but I've also saw people who had WTB ads with up to $1000. If I recall, when I took it off initially they were going for about $500 as well on the bay. That's really all I'm looking to get right now. Realistically, the way things are with rising prices and the fact that I cannot find a single one of these anywhere, I think $500 is probably undervalued, but it needs paint so I can live with it.
So the price is currently $500+shipping. Not really interested in less because I'd rather just keep it around in case I want to put it back on someday in that case. I'll gladly take more if you want though lol!
500 shipped would be fair imo. Considering it needs to be painted ect...I know this isn't the exact one but it guve you a good idea how to price it considering this one below if cf I belive but they do have the aluminum/ fiberglass one and idk if yours is... so imo 500 , if not even abit more would be fair.. put it at 700 + shipping and I wouldn't take anything less than 500 plus shipping for it...that's just my opinion...
