It came out of the factory with an automatic transmission and I swapped in a 6 speed manual transmission. 2006 Mini Cooper Supercharged Convertible 'Chili Red'. While the engine was out I installed NEW: Spark plugs, plug wires, oil pump, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, timing chain, chain tensioner and chain guides, supercharger oil, crankshaft damper, serpentine belt, rear main seal, flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, throttle body tube, axles, wipers, 'g48' coolant, air filter, lots of new O-rings for sensors, oil filter housing O-rings. It has it's original unmodified quiet exhaust that could probably pass a VA smog test. This engine is a 1.6L factory supercharged without any aftermarket race parts. It went it's first 112k miles mated to an automatic transmission which kept the engine from being over-rev'd, abused, and raced. Zero check engine codes. Zero airbag codes.
