Since I am not sure if I will keep it or not for a few more years, I asked for a full inspection of the overall condition of my Coupe. At mostly 46K, I never keep my cars more than 3 years from new but I really like this one and it is the exception.

The benefit is I bought it from new so it has a complete and documented story with all its weak and good features. There is not a lot I have to complain in 46K of happy driving other than the dealer being far away. Seattle Mini has been really great for outstanding service and accommodation for a loaner for many weeks. Sometimes, parts were late to come from Germany as interior trim parts. It took time to get rid of the squeaks but they did a good job.

Since last service in 12/17, they discovered a small oil leak from the crank main seal and an accessory belt that needed to be serviced. They also replaced both headlamps and the left side scuttle lamp and a rear bulb.

What I keep in mind from my 4 years journey until now with my Coupe is as follow: It has been a reliable and pleasurable car to drive. It has never been abuse and it has been scrupulously maintained and serviced to the highest BMW/Mini standards.

I asked what to expect in the year to come ......... they said an oil change, we did everything.

Bottom line, I may keep for a few more years.

Yep, every time I got close to the warranty end period I made a huge list of things for the dealer to check and replace with both my MINIs. I am up to 90K on my 2012 R58 JCW already and things have been good.
