Bought an '03 R53 from sawdustman. Rode a greyhound bus 8 hours to buy it sight unseen, following his apparently "extensive" vehicle history. He stated that the car had:
What the car actually had:
- new radiator fan
- new ac unit
- new oem cam
- poly bushings in a-arms
- new top and bottom motor mounts
- milled block and head
What the car actually had:
- Broken radiator fan]
- Crashed into a/c condenser
- New [scored?] oem cam
- [Cheap yellow ebay] poly bushings in a arms
- [ruined transmission mount]
- [brillo padded] block and cracked head
- Ruined transmission input bearing, screaming 3/4 synchro
- Oil drain plug impacted on to 1000000 ft/lbs.
- Broken window regulator, window help up inside door with a PVC pipe.
- Body damage in rear, with cut/tear in quarter panel that he called a "scratch".
- Body damage on right side, broken mirror has been epoxied on over the bolts to remove it. (Will post picture later)
