Over the past years, I have been engaged in dozens of online deals on sites similar to Ebay, Craig’s List, and NAM. Of all these transactions, the most recent with Bahman as Seller absolutely has been the most professional and personal in terms of answering my initial questions, providing detailed photos of the item(s) for sale, packing and shipping, and keeping me updated throughout the entire sales process.
In responding to an ad posted on NAM for an Orciari Body Kit, I had questions on exactly what was included. Within less than one day, Bahman replied to my every concern regarding condition of different body components and included many detailed photos. Throughout all our discussions, Bahman made the same concerted effort to respond to my every concern.
From these initial back and forth communications, I felt so confident in dealing with Bahman online that completing the deal just felt like the right thing to do. After all, I finally had located what I consider a highly desirable discontinued Orciari Body Kit, the details of which were fully disclosed to me, at a very fair price.
In contrast to other online purchases where payment was made and then the goods received, the post-purchase communication from Bahman reminded me of a photo essay of the entire packing and shipping process. For example, multiple emails were received with, once again, numerous detailed photos. From how the different body components had been originally mounted to how accessories were originally fitted, and from how all items were cleaned to being prepared for packing, I felt like I was present through the whole process.
A separate email with shipping documentation even explained how one of the shipping boxes was too large for regular shippers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and instead had to be sent via Greyhound Bus.
When shipment was received a couple days later and to my total delight, all components – both major (bumpers and side skirts) and minor (light panels, wheel arches, grill screens) - had been carefully protected in multiple layers of plastic wrap and packed securely in a custom double-layered box filled with cushioning “styrofoam peanuts.” And to facilitate ease of reinstallation, all mounting hardware had been packed in clearly marked separate baggies based on application.
I am grateful to Bahman for exceeding my expectations in making this major purchase as quick easy, and “painless” as possible. It was absolutely the best buying experience ever with top-notch customer service from a private seller.
