Bought mirror caps from

Asked me for 19$ shipping, when i received them, they were BOTH in the same oem box that dealer puts ONE of them in and not only did i realise that shipping was 5$(written on box), but 3 of the 5 tabs of one of the mirror caps were broken(because he fit one of the caps in the other)

Pmed him and his last reply is the following:

"they can still work 100% fine with a few broken or missing tabs, i have dealt with that in the past on other sets...."

I paid 4 times as much as it cost to ship(paid 19$, cost 5$), and ended up with lousy packing(that caused damage) to save on shipping.

Total cost 69$, total waste of money .

I am replying shortly until I come home from field training. I am in the army and am gone until the end of next week. This is not factual at all about this transaction.

If you want to quote me out of context then you'd better include all of our dialouge. To include the messages where you were unnecessarily rude and accusative.

The box was shipped multiple times, I was not the first recipient. You were quoting a different shipping charge from a previous receipt. It costs me $5 to ship a small box down the road. No way in hell does it cost $5 to ship to Canada from USA. I paid on a credit card , so while the receipt has been thrown out, I can access the record from both my bank and the store.

I can comment more on this when I return home. But until then this can stay up. At that point I will request this removed by a moderator.

In the end you need to act like an adult. You are buying used items and cannot expect 100% new items. With that said there were no broken clips when they shipped. And it doesn't matter of they were in the same box, they were properly packed and padded by the workers at the store I use to ship items all the time for years.

Thank you for being mean during this whole escapade. I've said in the beginning had you approached this as a mature adult I would have refunded te money and asked to send the items back to me. But instead you came off like a mean customer and were yelling at me.

Treat those like you would like to be treated. In this case it did not work out to your advantage.

I have the package, i can take pics and post it. The box doesn't lie.

I also have pics of the cap with the broken tabs, in your reply you said you don't care to see them.

I offered a partial refund of 20$ and told you that i will absorb 20$ and post them on NAM for 30$ with a declaration on the broken tabs on one of the caps and you never answered. But you were quite fast to answer the negative feedback.

Please moderator, this feedback zone is meant to be for such situations, where members have to warn other members about foul behavior.

The only thing foul here is your spiteful attitude here.

You keep throwing blame and insults around. It's enough. Stop.

Like I said earlier , I am in the US Army and am training for the next week. I am responding to this on my iPhone. I received an email notification about a post on my itrader on here. I do not receive emails about PMs.

The fact that you are accusing me of not responding to you asap, when I have told you numerous times that I will not be readily available, And then publically declaring that I am cheating you is getting on my nerves

this is not a trial. I don't care anymore to "prove" myself to you. Just go away, you've been a thorn in my side this entire time.

The final thing I will say is that I did not ship them to you broken. They had to go through many states and another country for delivery. If they were received in a broken status this can be solved by a shipping claim through the USPS for receiving damages items.

And for all I know, with all your hostility, you could have broken them putting them on. And then turned around and said that I did it

If you know that they have to go into many states(which is the case even when we ship inside the USA) why didn't you bother packing them properly instead of putting them in one single box and save on shipping. I paid more than enough to have them shipped properly.

So far if i re-read all my replies, i don't see one single word where i lacked respect. There is no foul language or profanities that i uttered.

You can say that i am disrespecting because you want to hang up the communication and take the easy way out, but that is your call.

As far as i am concerned, i believe that i have been mistreated.

As i said in my emails sent earlier to you(and went unanswered) i want fairness simply because i want to keep a good experience on NAM for both of us.

They were packed and prepared by the postal store down the road fromy house. I have already said this.

The $19 you paid was what I paid the store to pack them and process them and ship them plus tax plus paypal fees.

I never said you cursed at me. But you proceed to male blatant claims that I have purposefully cheated you and hustled you by selling broken parts.

Once they leave my hands, I cannot control their handling any longer. Not by the postal service, who may have broken the tabs. Or you, who may have as well.

This is my last post for a few days. Feel free to demand justice while I am gone. But even if I were to refund any money, I don't have the time or access to paypal until at least Friday the 19th.

I have always sold on e-bay, on NAM, and other forums and websites, i take the packing at heart and like to be treated all the same. I don't leave it to chance, if you leave it to chance, you have more misshaps.

Whoever packaged these caps definitely has no clue how important your feedback is. You can't take a chance with that.

Please do understand that i don't have any intentions on tarnishing anybody's reputation.

What i am asking is extremely fair, i didn't ask for a full refund, just a small partial refund to feel justice.

$16.81 for shipping

Paypal charges 4% fees = $2 on the mirrors themselves. $0.68 for the shipping and handling.

Total comes to $69.48

You paid $69.00

In the end, I lost money.

Like I said the store packed them, so if you would like to blame someone, blame them. I gave them the items, the box that I received the two mirrors I just bought from a member on NAM (which came in perfect), and asked them to pack the mirrors and ship.

You admit that you gave them to the store to pack, the box they came in is a MINI OEM box, that i believe you gave them(since you have used it before, as you mentioned earlier).

The store is not to blame, they did what you asked them. They didn't take any decision on how to pack them.

I am not to blame, i would have paid you more had you asked, to use a bigger box(not that a bigger box would necessarily cost more, not if it falls within certain dimensions, ) BUT REGARDLESS I WOULDN'T HAVE MINDED PAYING MORE TO RECEIVE MY ITEMS INTACT.

On the other hand it was your decision to ship 2 MIRROR CAPS in the same box that is used to ship ONE.

SO who is to blame?

Also, i would like to remind you that in all this back and forth, i haven't disrespected you but on the other hand you are calling me childish and that i need to grow up.

I am a grown up, and if i am taking the time to write all this, it is simply because i believe there is a misunderstanding between me and an adult, and that i hope it can be solved with sense and logic.

Yes, as I've said many times already, I gave them to the store to pack in the box which I received the two mirrors I bought off another member on this forum.

If youre not following, I received two in that same box about a week prior to mailing the chrome mirrors out. TWO. came in THAT box. In fine condition.

The box size does not matter, they both fit, and were padded.

Now, if you asked me to make sure they shipped in two separate boxes, and paid for this, I would have done it. But you never mentioned anything of that sort once. Not once.

This is a frivolous argument that is taking us nowhere. I am not refunding you any money. I am not giving you a partial refund in the name of "justice".

This is it, this is going nowhere.

You paid for an item, and you received it. It came in and had imperfections. You did not ask me about it, instead you berated me and blamed me. You could have asked me about it, and then asked what we can do. Instead you chose not to, but you claimed I did it, and that I was essentially untrustworthy because I never responded to a message you sent me, when I never had the time to even read it.

You could, and should, if you feel necessary to file a claim with the US or Canadian Postal Services concerning damaged goods on arrival.

I say for the last time, they were in perfect condition when they left my hands. I took them off, as I have taken off many mirror caps, without breaking any tabs.

You tell me two weeks after the fact you would not have minded paying more to have them shipped "better". But you A, complained about me "overcharging you" and not trusting me when I am telling the truth about what I paid. And then B, alert me to the fact that you would have prefered me to ship it for a more expensive cost, after you were already "cheated".

Sorry, I cannot bring us to the past and correct these errors. But you failed to inform me that you would have them shipped another way. If you never told me, how can I do so?

I never in my life bought mirrors from MINI USA, or received them in a box. How am I to know that box is only meant for one? Or two? Or thirty? Two mirrors fit perfectly in the box, and that is how another member sent it to me.

And even if i didnt use the box from MINI, I would, or the store would, have used a box that fit the dimensions without being over large, which was what this one measured out to pretty much anyways.

I am saying you need to grow up because I did everything properly, and cannot control what happens to these after they leave my hands. But you are coming to the conclusion that it is my fault for these being damaged in shipping, or that I straight lied to you and sent them broken.

If the USPS truck was burnt down because of a fire, and the mirrors were melted, you assume it would be my fault too.

There is quite the misunderstanding, but its on your part. I simply CANNOT do anything once they leave my hands. I have told you this over and over.

Please if you feel something needs to be done, talk to the postal service and file a complaint with them. Feel free to file a paypal dispute, I will happily talk to them as well.

I did what I could and what I needed to in order to sell an item over the internet.

This is the end of this entire ordeal. I will not reply back once more. I am sorry, but this is simply a waste of my time - I cannot do anything for you.
