Seat Belt Tensioner's Black & Blue Connectors
I removed the OEM front seats and installed one aftermarket seat thus far, the driver side of course, and decided to go for a spin, and noticed the SRS light is on.
I put the appropriate resistor into each yellow airbag connector beforehand, so I imagine that is not the issue. Since the passenger seat is not installed now (and the belt receptacle), might that be the problem, that the blue and black connectors for the tensioner are not connected? I'm guessing so... If that is indeed the case, should one put a resistor in those too, when not being used. Not sure when I'll install the passenger seat.... Thanks much. |
Yes and you will need a code scanner/resetter to turn off the SRS warning light as well.

Chris, thank you for making the time to respond. I have two more of the same resistors. Do you know if those work here too (same resistance), in these connectors?
Seems that I might need to purchase something like this: http://www.obdtoolstore.com/shop/pro...3dbbd4031beb7f A $60 mistake because I wanted to go for a spin so soon... Drat. |
