Nice list Dr. only thing I would do is take Alpha off

Lowered the car a couple of months ago. Really ties in everything imo.

Put on some new shoes the other day. Love both equally

Before

After

They are Flik Bullets(discontinued). If they are truly knock offs of these wheels, as the Volk's have an outer lip, the Flik Bullet have only an inner lip, then the Flik Bullets look far better than the Volks--a lot cleaner IMO.

Btw, here is my entry for my favorite MINI, showing off my wheels as well.

So now that OctaneGuy's car has officially appeared on this thread, I can add it to my list as #20! The red accent theme is well done (and unique!) and the Joey headlights are a nice touch.
(now that I think about it, how many of the cars on my list have stock headlights... Do I really hate the stock headlights that much?) haha
btw AllBlack05S is coming really close, due to those cool red Joey xenons. I'm not so sure about the Viper stripe, and the 4 Klieg lights are too much

Thanks thats an honor. To be even close to someone elses' top 20 out of millions. For the record I had the stripe before the ACR Viper was out in that color scheme so that pig has a Mini stripe.

Its a Marine Corps blood stripe anyway (think dress blues trouser leg for NCOs)

And with my personality hella 500s like everyone else would just not do.

The 700s are the same size as the Black magic but cheaper which at the time was key. One day I may swap out to the black. seeing Kellis Redrum in person sold me on those.

That's cool to know about the Viper stripe! I have seen that stripe on the trousers--very impressive and adds a nice "story" to your car's paint scheme.
I bet those 700s light up the night!!
You know, a nice set of black wheels with red ring would set off your car really well (as if you needed more reason to spend money on your monster--haha)

You know, the order was simply how they appeared from post #1 to post #300! I'd HATE to rank those cars on the list, let alone all the wonderfully unique Minis that are sitting on the list with numbers 20 to 100!
I wasn't trying to create anything but a list of those cars that have always impressed me--we see them often on NAM because they are both unique and representative of a common spirit.
When people talk to me about the Mini I often say to them that it seems to have been designed to modify. It's so easy to work on, the system are relatively simple, and it responds so well to these modifications.

You can be lucky number 21 (in no particular order, remember!)
My analysis of your car would be a very well thought out use of chrome--take those side markers for example! -Sweet. As you know, I'm not a big fan of chrome, but your car proves it can be done well--your use of black, dark silver, silver and chrome is top notch.

Unless you're trying to go with the styling of deep lips, wide wheels, and slammed ride height.

The super high offset and lame lug pattern on our cars makes finding "cool" deep lip wheels pretty difficult and our lack of suspension travel doesn't lend it self to slammed ride heights.

It certainly is a fun car to modify though

Ah, yes Rally--it does have its limitations! and it's not like I've modified lots of cars, but seeing what people have done to their Minis seems proof that there's a lot of potential in our little car. I was looking at a 2008 Civic recently, and it certainly didn't look modder friendly, despite all the modded Civics I've seen...

Thanks Doc. I feel warm and fuzzy now

Ive thought about blacking out my car but for me it was a little to easy just to black everything out so I decided to work with the chrome the car already has and try to make it look cohesive and well executed. IMO think the little bits of chrome actually helps accentuate the warm color of Royal Grey. Lots of trial and error as it took me awhile for me to find the right blend but I think I have achieved the look I was striving for.

Except if the Flik Bullets are knockoffs, they look a lot better than what they are ripping off..notice the inner lip versus the Volks has both an outer lip and inner lip.

Here's my contribution

I have had both a Cooper and Cooper S and have a favorite picture of each, both taken by a friend.

Personal opinion at that point...I prefer the outer lip of the Volks personally.

They definitely are "replicas" even if they're not exact.

It's rare enough to have an inner lip like that, but to have the inner lip AND have the weird geometric line pattern on that inner lip (which it appears you've removed) definitely screams "replica" or atleast "copy". Not that that's a bad thing. Yours look great cleaned up and painted.

Mine never had that pattern. There were different Flik Bullets lettered by Bullet B and Bullet C, I believe--going off memory here. This picture shows the wheels I bought when the paint on them was still new and decent, lol.

I agree that the pattern does scream copy. I'm glad mine didn't have that, lol.
