Quote: Great shirt ImagoX Now can you come up for one for women too? Im really tired of hearing how "cute" my car is
Something like this or different? This is a bit "girly", but my wife wanted something pastel:

My daughter however, wantes something a bit more agressive:

Both CafePress and Zazzle allow you to make one-off custom shirts, so if anyone wants to try to duplicate this design or the "*******" one (other than a vendor that's going to make a thousand of them that is - if so PM me and maybe we can work something out) then go ahead.

As far as where MY stuff lives... well, I've probably already said too much already.

Carry on, citizens and I'm glad you like the design. Thanks for the kind words.

Matt, why don't you become a vendor on NAM (get with Mark Ferguson to establish that) and go for it?

I'd love to and I've received the Vendor pricing list from Mark, however since I do not own a screenprinting business and have to go through a boutique like CafePress or Zazzle to make these, my profit margin is actually quite miniscule... I'd literally have to sell about 100+ shirts a month just to break even with NAM - if I sell less then I'd be taking a substantial financial hit. My car ITSELF already steals ebnough money out of my pocket - the last thing I need is SHIRTS of my car to take away more, no matter how fun they are.

So yeah... I'd love to work with someone that has a screenprint shop and who's also a NAM vendor to actually make these in volume. Maybe someone will see them and get with me.

To get back to the thread question, I just tell them, "Well you know how some guys have to buy big SUVs to compensate? Well, I kinda have the opposite problem."

I don't know why this thread was moved to general mini talk, what with the r56 being an SUV and all...

2" is the difference between a MINI and an SUV. Sounds like something a man would say

Quote: Problem is *I* designed it... If any vendor out there wants to talk about it, though, I'd love to see these ALL OVER the place.

Funny...that's my license plate... hmm

Because this is not a generation-specific topic.

Quote: That's awefully generous - send your designs so that someone else can make money off your creation and you only get one shirt? Doesn't sound like a good deal to me.
Yeah, that's exactly what I said! If you want this shirt, go to:

www.zazzle.com/imagox/products

This is NOT my design, but I think people should know where to find it if they want one. I hope I didn't break any rules by posting this.

I thought I saw a bumper sticker or a static sticker on the board somewhere that said, "I drive a MINI. What are you compensating for?"

I like the shirt (my original NAM ID was "Compensating")...

But I can't bring myself to lie to people...

But I can dream of being able to wear the shirt...

And maybe with a few more internet purchases form the spam I get every day I will get there... someday...

Cool Design
Cool designs everyone but I would be afraid of offending the middle of the road (pun intended) folks with something like this. I already have the SUV peeps to look out for without bringing up more of their ummm... shortcomings

Just to set the record straight on SwagHappy printing other designers' art: I pay a per shirt royalty for outside designs. In the case of the da Mini shirt, which was the only one done outside SH, I paid a $2 per shirt fee to use the design. I am in the design business as a full time gig and would not print a run of shirts for my own inventory in exchange for a single shirt.

Cheers,

Dave
