Finding a Leather Sample - 2010 Mayfair 50th Anniversary

Hey there. I’m in a bit of an odd situation involving both old and new Minis. I’m doing a restoration of an ‘84 Mini Mayfair and I found beautiful replacement seats online - out of a 2010 Mayfair. Fabricating the bracket is fine, BUT I want to get doorcards and back seats that match!

Unfortunately I’m on an Army deployment in Kuwait at the moment so the project is stalled at a shop with a less-than-responsive staff. I want to get moving on the custom leather but I can’t get a hold of a sample from my seats.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a swatch for color-matching? The seat color is called “toffee.” It was offered with the 50th anniversary Mayfair and has white piping.

I’m going crazy trying to find this.

thanks so much for your help
Rich

This guy: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ini-build.html

He got his body kit and other things from us

He was building a MINI and had some custom leather made in Toffey.

Thanks!

Thank you! I sent him an email; hopefully he can point me in the right direction. To be clear: you made the body kit but not the leather bits, right?

cheers,
Rich

We supplied him with some parts and the JCW Factory body kit. He had another person do the leather work.
