This is probably a repost............sorry if it is

jcauseyfd Mar 25, 2010 06:17 PM

OK, I'm a little worried something may be wrong with me. I actually think that would be kind of cool to have.

I think baby Jesus is crying. LOL nah that would be hiliarious to black out all the stuff that comes chrome normally. Also sadly its an autotragic.

Fatherdeth Mar 25, 2010 07:51 PM

Hmmm, kind of looks like a stripped of paint rat rod!! Kind of cool looking.

According to the ad, "she'll love it". If she loves it, I don't want anything to do with her:razz:

BensMini Mar 26, 2010 01:03 AM

ummm, I don't know, maybe a bit too shiny, can you picture this with an Airstream Trailer behind it, a chrome explosion!

NightFlyR Mar 26, 2010 06:39 AM

WOW is that Shiny, looks like someone used alot of Reynolds Wrap on this thing, Put it in the oven

Helix13mini Mar 26, 2010 06:51 AM

LOL. With more than 6 billion people on the planet, you can find some amusingly hairbrained ideas come to life. Y'know, like start a MINI tuning company.

JumpingJackFlash Mar 26, 2010 06:55 AM

Yeah, I bet the guys at the international space station can see the reflection on a Sunny day.

FWIW, it is cool. Kinda like the all-chrome version of WWII planes. :)

iwashmycar Mar 26, 2010 07:13 AM

....and no chrome rims... lol

The thing that got me, is that in the right surroundings it would reflect everything (like a mirror), so it would look like 4 wheels and a grille coming at you:lol:

ftttuhzbmcs Mar 26, 2010 03:24 PM

I took this image while at MINI United @ Silverstone last year. I can't remember but I think it was designed by Sting.

ALTA_Jarid Mar 26, 2010 03:24 PM

Right now there is a guy with chrome shoes and glasses, typing on a chrome laptop staring at that picture and saying....WANT!!!

Gerarddm Mar 26, 2010 05:58 PM

That could be a road hazard to other drivers on a sunny day...

Instead of fuzzy dice hanging forom the rear view mirror, they couls have a polished mini P-51, LOL.

juliansorl Mar 26, 2010 06:14 PM

I kind of like it too, but on a dry summer day it could start a fire or something.

ntmid8r Mar 26, 2010 08:15 PM

I don't like it, the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

davavd Mar 27, 2010 02:57 AM

It looks like an airplane - needs lots of rows of rivets.

STi2Mini Mar 27, 2010 09:49 AM

I'd rock it! :)

Minnie2010 Mar 27, 2010 10:01 AM

If lightening were to strike, would that be the first thing it hits?

I actually like the classic Mini chromed out. The one in the Auto Trader ad just looks a little cheap IMO.

I agree with Silhouette88, that's actually kind of cool.
