Download Your Owner's Manual Here 2002 to 2007

OK, I did not see this anywhere, so I thought I would post it. Maybe a moderator can put it where it belongs or tear it down if it's already been beat to death. I apologize if there is some place where this info is posted.

Anyway, what I have done for my car is keep an electronic copy of my owner's manual on my computer. I have placed it on my Windows Desktop and also a shortcut on my Windows "Start" menu.

Whenever I have a question about something I click open the PDF file and take a look. I also use Adobe Acrobat's search function to look for key words on the issue or subject I am looking for.

I have uploaded to my server the manuals I have. So you can click the links below to download the MINI manual you need.

Beats flipping through paper.

Oh, PM me or post here if any of the links/downloads are not working.

Nice links. I think I got mine off the Mini Owners lounge or something similar. I keep all my vehicle owners manual in pdf format. One at home and one at work. Not that they are extremely informative, but if I want to change the oil or a lightbulb I can can consult the manual and pick up what I need on the way home.

08 MCS Manual?

MichaelSF,
Thanks for posting these. The unauthorized manual is pretty entertaining. Does anyone have a .pdf copy of a '08 MCS Manual? I ordered my car in Germany so I don't yet have access to the MiniUSA Owner's Lounge. Hopefully that will change when I get a VIN number in a week or so.

Michael, thanks for posting this. My 2009 is due at the dealers the end of the month and its in Spanish (since I live in Mexico) which is not my first language. I had contacted the UK and they said I'd have to special order.
Now, if anyone ever posts one for an 09 ........well, thanks.

MotoringFile also has links to most of the manuals in a "downloads" section in the right-hand column further down the page.

The Navigation manual you have posted is only for the first generation cars; there's some user-created portions of R56 Nav manuals posted here, and a full official BMW/MINI copy is in this thread. It says 2008, but doesn't show any info on the USB port, so it might be a 2007, unless the USB port is covered in a separate pamphlet.

The 08 and 07 cars are virtually identical, the only differences between them and should be the USB port and auto-up windows. The USB port works just like the "Selecting a Track" section of the manual shows for the CD Player under the heading "Compressed Audio Files" on page 130.

Other than that, you should be good to go :)

Whoops, some of the 'you's in that message were meant for MichaelSF :)

Hi,
When I clicked on the link the message was "page not found". I'm just trying to see what the manual says about oil dipstick levels for my 2007 Cooper S coupe. Thanks.

Downloadable Manual

I clicked on the 2007 Mini Convertible and that then goes to "Page Not Found", I tried several times.

I actually just purchased a 2008 Mini Convertible (and no manual). So I'm looking. EBay, Amazon and now here.

Thanks.

Is there a supplement for the JCW edition on an '04?

As far as Owner's Manuals, there haven't been anything separate for JCW's because they have the same interior/exterior and operating instructions as the standard S model. The only exception was the GP (2006), which had a supplement because it is a 2-seater with some differences in the interior. JCW on an '04 is an engine kit installed by the dealer.
