Color...I can't decide
Color...I can't decide
I had an 05 PW/B. It's been gone a year now. (Long, sad story) But I'm ready to order again. I love PW, but I also like O2 Blue, and the Nightfire Red. I want to place my order this week but I can't commit to a color.
Sorry, but we can't decide for you. It's purely a personal choice but you can rest assured that there is no such thing as a BAD color on a MINI.
Well... baby-poop green might not be so good. But you get the idea.

Aye, any color choice is a good choice!
Alla y'all look great in the new MC2, Tori.+1 on the O2 Blue being way kewl, but you need to make the decision on your own. (if bribes become involved, then that's a different story)

Silly boy!
All the colors you mentioned are great, Sirius. Have you had a chance to see actual MINIs in each color at the dealership? It's hard to tell from the configurator or from color chips...better to see the real thing. Good luck!
I vote for O2 Blue. I love the Nightfire Red color, but although it is unique in Mini, there are other manufacturers make their cars and trucks in similar dark metallic red color. I have seen very little of O2 Blue color cars. I think the last one I seen in that color was a Thunderbird.
ditto everything said already! If seeing everything at the dealer is not possible, find as many pics here as you can. OB and NFR are amorphous colors that look totally different in differnet lights. PW is classy and classic too, but you can guess my vote!
First off go with a solid car color with no bonnet stripes!
Second if you are really going to be meticulous and keep a really clean car that is well polished and waxed then I would go with a color that will look brilliant when detailed. Reds do for sure as do blacks.
On the other hand if you want a color that is easier to take care of go for Silver or Dark Silver or even white. I have Dark Silver and when polished and waxed it looks great but never as stunning as deep rich colors. Its a double edged sword color. It does not really ever look bad but it also never looks absoultely brilliant. Possibly its the metallic nature?

What do you mean? What would I have to add to fill them?
O2 blue - great choice. Echo the sentiments of the above - see it in the metal first.
Or do what I did when I had my custom bike frame done - choose the conservative color first (in my case navy blue), then call, email, fax, and smoke-signal the factory that you REALLY wanted the outrageous one (screaming yellow). I got yellow. Conservative is not always necessary.

I know for MCS, you will need rear fog lamp option. I am not sure for MC, I think you may also need to have the front fog lamp as well.
That's good as I am getting both of those. However, for the life of me I can't see why I would need the rear fog lamps.
Excellent choice, that would have been my vote! Go for the stripes!
I think O2B is dead sexy!
Although not quite as sexy as AB/W, but I am, of course, biased.
